TELES HOSTING is established in Cameroon and serves an African and international clientele. In accordance with Law No. 2024/017 of December 23, 2024 on personal data protection in Cameroon, which has extraterritorial scope, TELES HOSTING is committed to protecting the personal data of all its Clients and visitors, whether located in Cameroon, in transit, or abroad.
Note: The Personal Data Protection Authority (APDCP) provided for by Law No. 2024/017 is being established. Required declarations or prior authorizations will be filed once the authority is operational. Clients residing in other countries with data protection legislation (e.g., GDPR for the EU, national African laws) benefit from the rights recognized by their local legislation.

3. Processing Purposes
Data is processed for the following purposes:
- Contract performance: account creation and management, provision of hosting and domain name services, billing, technical support;
- Legal obligations: retention of accounting and tax data, compliance with traceability obligations, response to legal requisitions;
- Security: fraud prevention, intrusion detection, abuse enforcement (see AUP);
- Communication: service notifications, renewal notifications, and — only with explicit consent (opt-in) — newsletters and commercial offers.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
In accordance with Law No. 2024/017 and the legislation applicable in the Client's country of residence, processing is based on:
- Consent of the Client for marketing and non-essential cookie processing;
- Contract performance for account management, billing, and service provision;
- Legal obligation for retention of accounting, tax, and traceability data;
- Legitimate interest of the Provider for security, fraud prevention, and AUP enforcement.
5. Data Recipients
Data is accessible to:
- authorized TELES HOSTING personnel (support, billing, administration);
- the following technical sub-processors, within the scope of their missions:
- Our ICANN-accredited registrar partners — domain name registration (transmission of WHOIS data required by ICANN);
- Our Mobile Money payment aggregators — processing of African Mobile Money payments;
- Our international payment providers — processing of card and e-wallet payments;
- Our infrastructure providers — server hosting;
- Our audience measurement tool — anonymized visit statistics (where applicable, with consent).
- competent public authorities, upon legal requisition.
Data is never sold to third parties for commercial purposes.
6. International Transfers
As TELES HOSTING is established in Cameroon and serves an international clientele, data may be processed in several countries. In accordance with Law No. 2024/017 and applicable legislation, these transfers are governed by:
- appropriate contractual safeguards (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions) with sub-processors;
- compliance with ICANN rules for domain name data, transmitted to the relevant TLD registries;
- equivalent security measures ensuring an adequate level of protection.
The Client is informed that domain name data is transmitted to ICANN and the relevant TLD registry, in accordance with registrar accreditation rules. Payment data is processed by payment providers in their respective processing centers.

8. Your Rights
In accordance with Law No. 2024/017 and the legislation applicable in your country of residence, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data;
- Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations;
- Right to restriction of processing;
- Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Right to object: to processing for legitimate reasons, and to marketing;
- Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise these rights, send your request to support@teles-hosting.com with the subject "Data Protection Request". We respond within a maximum of [30] days. If the response is unsatisfactory, you may refer the matter to the data protection authority in your country of residence (APDCP in Cameroon once operational, CNIL in France, or any other equivalent national authority).
9. Cookies
The website uses the following cookies:
- WHMCS session cookie (essential): necessary for navigation and cart management. No consent required.
- Audience measurement cookie (where applicable): anonymized visit statistics. Placed only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Social media cookies (where applicable): only if you interact with social modules.

TELES HOSTING implements the following technical and organizational measures:
- password encryption (one-way hashing);
- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all communications;
- restricted access to data for authorized personnel;
- regular infrastructure backups;
- access logging for security and traceability purposes.
As no method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, TELES HOSTING cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach likely to pose a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without delay in accordance with Law No. 2024/017 and applicable legislation.
11. Minors
Services are not intended for persons under 18 years of age. TELES HOSTING does not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Any registration by a minor is void.
12. Amendments
This Privacy Policy may be modified at any time to reflect legal, regulatory, or technical developments. The update date is indicated at the top of the page.
